Our guides are written from the ground: we live and work in Ubud, eat across the town weekly, and only recommend places we would send a friend to. Every guide is reviewed on a fixed cycle so opening hours, prices and closures stay accurate.
Where we mention our own restaurant we say so plainly. Where a competitor is better for a specific occasion, we say that too — a guide that only points at itself is not a guide.
